This mixed media abstract is rich with textures and colors. Some viewers see an enchanted forest, others see a treasure chest at the bottom of the ocean. What do you see in it? This original painting is on a birch panel and is painted with various acrylic paints and acrylic gels' it also contains some highlights in had painted paper. This is truly a unique piece that keeps the eye fascinated
About Christiane Kingsley
Christiane Kingsley is a Canadian artist working in watercolor, acrylic,oil and mixed media. She started her art journey more than 30 years ago as a fibre artist ; for many years, she sold her work through major craft shows in the Ottawa,Ontario,area . About 15 years ago, she discovered the magic of watercolour and the transition to this artistic expression was most fluid and logical. Christiane retired in December 2010 after a successful career as a high school teacher and then as a director of learning programs and services in the Canadian federal Public Service.
