I love cherries with their bright lustrous colors! I also love painting lace...So, painting cherries on linen lace is a real pleasure! I even had a lot of fun setting up this still life in my studio�I have to admit that I had more cherries than this when I started taking the pictures:-) Those cherries were delicious!
About Christiane Kingsley
Christiane Kingsley is a Canadian artist working in watercolor, acrylic,oil and mixed media. She started her art journey more than 30 years ago as a fibre artist ; for many years, she sold her work through major craft shows in the Ottawa,Ontario,area . About 15 years ago, she discovered the magic of watercolour and the transition to this artistic expression was most fluid and logical. Christiane retired in December 2010 after a successful career as a high school teacher and then as a director of learning programs and services in the Canadian federal Public Service.
